2011 Crew Outing,
McD Banting's team visited MacFood

A quick group photo on the early birds...
Crew meeting been conducted, on the road to MacFood...
" ... Yo, what's up bro... you ever been to MacFood!? "
9:30am, arrived at MacFood... a warm welcome by MacFood team
The session kicked off, with a quick intro of MacFood...
The level of hygiene & food safety standard enforced by MacFood is IMPRESSIVE!!!
After the briefing session, we been guided, and guarded, to visit the production processing lines
Before we entered any processing line,
we are required to put on... (let's see whether we can get this right...)
first take off our shoe change to slipper, then wash our hand...
then go to another room to put on mouth mask,
follow by put on a disposable hair net, AND another disposable head cover,
then put on the dress, the boot, and a pair of glove...
before proceed to the next changing room, we are required to put on the cleaning solution to clean the surface of the gloves!!!
THEN, into the 3rd room, required to step on a special machine to clean our boots...
And not forgetting we need to use a special tool to clean the surface of our dress!!!

The controls that require EVERYONE, to go thru the process EVERY TIME, before entering any processing line is really "eye-opening"!
... At least now we know the food that we use at McDonald's restaurants are indeed gone thru such stringent process, and food safety control! :P

Lastly we proceeded back to the conference room for Q&A...
As a token of appreciation, McD Banting team presented MacFood team some locally produced world-class souvenirs (that export to oversea market... yes Banting does produce locally made products to oversea :) )
McD Banting team recap the visit, with 3 take-home messages,
(1) practice high-level of food-safety standard
(2) remember the escalation process to MacFood - Don't throw away the box, we need the Code Date for feedback
(3) appreciate the food that we use at store, every pieces gone thru so much of effort (and saving the COST for the boss as well of course :) )
